Arrived in Nha Trang at 6am, had a good nights sleep on the bus! We checked into our hotel and booked a full day boat trip around the islands off the coast of Nha Trang. We were collected at 8.30am & got on the bus to the pier. We were the only English people on the boat along with Vietnamese, Koreans, Indonesians, Filipinos, Chinese and a Dutch couple. First stop was Mieu Island, followed by snorkelling at Mot Island & lots of stingy jellyfish! Next stop was Mun Island followed by a fish farm with huge lobsters, eels, crabs, urchins and catfish which you could buy & eat straight away. Everyone on the boat sat down for lunch together and the three of us finished off everyone's leftovers oops! After lunch it was karaoke time and every different nationality sang a song from their country. The song we were given was yellow submarine!
We set sail again to a nice little cove where we were allowed to jump off the top of the boat and a floating bar was thrown off the side of the boat, after a few shots of a horrid whiskey & vodka mix with our feet up on the floating bar, we got back in the boat for an afternoon nap.
The final stop of the day was Tre island, we ate some fresh pineapple and had a swim in the clear turquoise sea. As we sailed back to the pier we went under the Vinpearl cable car which connects Nha Trang with Tre island.
After a very long day we went for a traditional Vietnamese dinner at a restaurant called Lanterns & had an early night.
