Hey Guys,
Well since i last wrote, we had got to Koh Samet we stayed there for a week and had the best time, we really didnt want to leave. We met so many people and all the locals were so freindly. Most of the days we were chilling on the beach, it is so hot we last checked it was 38 degrees, What!!!!!! We were in the water most of the time as the waves were pretty big so we would just try and body surf them butended up topling in to the sand. Ha!!!! The accomodation we had was very basic but it was literally a 30 second walk to the beach which was good. One night we came back to the room and i found the biggest centipede in the bathroom, it was a like a snake which was ject black and red legs and it was making this eary taping nose on the tiles with its claws. we showed the pics to the locals and even they hadnt seen one that big they reckon it cudnt kill you bit would give you a nasty sting but it could have killed a baby which was worrying. We cudnt be arsed to move rooms so we would scour our bedroom for half an hour every night just incase. But there always seemed to be some kind of creature in our room, there was a lizard watching me take a shower one night - the perv!!! and there was a massive cockroach by our door, so as you can tell it wasnt the best of accomodation but what a laugh though.
One day we all hired mopeds so we could explore the island, it was only 10k long so it wasnt far. The bikes took some getting used to as the roads were bad as they were just dirt tracks, we all nearly crashed a few times but the whole time i was on there i had a smile on my face i felt like ewan mcgreggor from long way don ha ha!!! and for 300 baht all day which was about a fiver, bargain hunt!!!!
The last few days were were getting drunk on samsong buckets in our local little Toks bar where there is a Thai guy there called Happy man!1 all he does is laugh and smile and dance i should take a leaf out of his book although i'd be like that if i lived here, what a legend!!! We were staying out most nigfhts till 6:30 and we wud watch the sun come up its amazing, in the days we would be just dieing on the beach but wudnt care with the scenery we had in front of us.
Now i am in a city called Trat its a bout a 3 hour journey from Koh Samet, we took a ferry and 2 busses to get there. We wanted to go to another city before moving on to another beach resort like Koh Chang as it mixes the journey up and we can get cheap stuff like internet, laundry, accomodation, sun tan lotion etc.
I'll keep in touch speak to you all soon.
