Hi again,

So, from Krabi we went to Koh Lanta, which wasn't on our original itinerary, but we read it was a beautiful island, not quite discovered by backpackers-sounded ideal. We managed to score a great place in a lovely resort for 300 baht (around 6 pounds), which surprisngly came with air con-yes!! It was right on the beach, albeit a rocky one, but the waves were cool (see the video once we upload it-we're having technical difficulties) and it gave us a chance to chill out by a pool for a afternoon.

The nest day, I was feeling adventurous and wanted to hire a motorbike. Chris, Mr Health and Safety, was more cautious (yes, Mum, I can hear you, "so he should be!") and took a little bit of convincing, but we were glad we did it as we had a great day exploring the island ourselves. We went to a waterfall, which was disappointing (as you can see from the photos), but we enjoyed the walk through the jungle and up a river to find it. The search for a fantastic waterfall continues! We will definitely hire one again.

After Koh Lanta, we headed to Koh Phi Phi, where we are now. Chris did some rock climbing yesterday, whilst I explored the town and had a Thai massage. Anyone who has ever had a Thai massage will understand that I did not feel relaxed after it! The afternoon we are headed out to Koh Phi Phi Ley, which has the beach where The Beach was filmed, was we're looking forward to that, though the weather does not look great at the moment-hopefully it'll clear up later.

We're off to Phuket next for a few days before headed up the coast to Northern Thailand. Hope everyone is well.
