No Christmas calendar for us this year, as we're not really having a Christmas. We caught the bus to Battambang and checked into a nice but cheap guesthouse, although they did put on a bit of pressure to see the sights with their tuk-tuk drivers. We found this a bit annoying so just for that we found another tuk-tuk and booked him instead. The driver was nice and spoke good English but didn't have the best start as he had a puncture that needed to be changed. So...

From Nha Trang, we caught the bus to Mui Ne-a small town on the coast big on kite surfing. We weren't feeling so beachy so we found a plush looking resort and had some afternoon tea and cake-nice! Don't be disillusioned-we stayed in a $10 room elsewhere. Only had one night there as we'd decided to crack on, now that we don't really have to extend our visa, so off to Saigon and the last of our sleeper buses-YEY!! Overall, the buses were actually ok and good value...

Arrived in Cambodia after a series of stops on the boat to pass through immigration-another visa sticker to add to the collection. It was the nicest, most peaceful, straightforward border crossing yet. Once we docked, we had the usual circus crowd waiting for us offering us rides into town, even though we were already in the centre.
