Hi all, So we left the Perhentians nice and early, heading towards the Thai border. We hopped into a taxi for 80baht (1.50 pounds) for an hours drive to the border. We went trhough no problems and got our stamp for Thailand. Then we went on the hunt for an ATM as we had no Thai currency and found a minibus heading to Hat Yai. That was a 4hr trip! Hello there, After a very long and sleepless, 18hr overnight train ride, and 60 minute taxi we arrived at Kuala Besut to catch the speed boat ferry to the Perhentians (Kecil Island). We had two nights on Long beach just relaxing, and getting a liitle too much sun, lets just say most of the the white bits went red. Hi Everyone, Our first blog just to say that we arrived safely and had one full day in KL yesterday. Did the obvious sights (& shopping, of course). We managed to get a really nice guesthouse to stay in above a Reggae Bar, which sounds dodgy, but it was quite cool. Today we're exploring the city a little more, killing time really, before we board our train to Wakaf Bharu tonight, which is the stop for the Perhentian islands. The train will take around 13 ho...
