OK Michael, you did warn me, and I remembered it, but we'd been in a few dull hostels where people were quite anitsocial and just vegged in front of the tv all night not talking, so we though we'd try it out see if it was a bit more lively....it was awful...horrible kitchen with few utensils, stupid little kids running around all over the place, sleazy men not really acting their age, and a real club 18-30s vibe. OK that might be for some people but it's not what we're after on this trip!
What does the one in Christchurch have to make it worth staying in? Also, can you remember where you stayed in Brisbane? There's so much choice. We're trying to change our flight to NZ back a week now too and get an internal flight to Melbourne and Great Ocean Road at minute!

Guys i resent that about the civil service type hours (tho i am reading this in work after a week off) but that was for easter!!!!
Cant wait to see the pics. Not much craic from home the sun (well it was 11oC) kinda shined on friday so we went to the beach with a skip in our step and a football and stood freezin (id 2 hoodies on) for bout an hour before we finally came to our senses and left but hey its only april!
On easter monday adam pg rozzie and i went to dublin zoo!!!! finally we can put the raking of the last time behind us because we found it no probs and it was open!!!! Got to see tigers a kanagroo rabbit mix and a huge hippo and rhino was pretty kul also seen a rose tarantula which apparently lives in oz (def try and avoid it) - also seen a we croc not half as big as the ones in your photos but hey least it was behind glass!!! Also while watching the penguinns and thinking about happy feet adam randomly asks was it not wierd that penguinns eat fish and likening it to us eating other humans pg reliably informed him that penguinns are mammals and fish are well fish and so not that wierd (im sure adam will have some witty comeback slaggin me off)
Neways break is over and ive work to do (yes i do work!)
Speak soon jxx

Underwater pics are amazing. I envy you being able to swim and enjoy such sights. By the way, was there anyone else around Cape Tribulation or were you alone? Not so keen on the swinging through the trees experience. Did you visist Moore's reef?
Where to next?
Keep safe, Keep having fun.

Loving the photos guys, we were all sat a mum's last night looking at them all.
Your weather is certainly much better than here, Phil & I are heading up to the caravan on Friday for the Easter week & no doubt will have typical Benone/Castlerock weather. Still at least we'll be off work.
Keep safe

Hi guys, sorry I am making you think back what was the weather in Malaysia, the F1 race was dry one minute, wet the next, trenchial downpour the next.
The weather here is a lot better, between 13 and 15 degress.
What is Australia like. P.S and the weather.
