Haha, i can just imagine Ads getting all worked up, crossings at airports having people on them, sheesh who would have guessed. Chris reckons he was punching the steeing wheel and all.
Did you guys have a good weekend? Where did you end up?
Fiji is beaut, but i got sick for a while there and spent one day in bed making Chris my slave for the day while i made repeative runs for the bathroom - not so nice, now i cant wait for safe food in America, everything here im looking at with suspect. first stop marble slab - cant get sick from ice cream, only of too much of it.
oh julie im sure there will be just a couple of nights out in August (if we have any money left, though we've been drinking so little we'll be total lightweights - not that im not already...
Talk soon, xxx
Julie
Hey guys aww hopefully that is the only rainy day! Having a ball in newcastle (well as much fun as you can have in a hotel for 1!) job is stressful and feel like im actually earning my civil servants wages for once! Was really looking forward to coming home this weekend havent been home in a few weeks and was waiting by the airport for adam to pick me up and seen him cracking up at a zebra crossing cus so many people were crossing - some things just dont change. Incidentally the only reason adam was picking me up was my whole family were away and thought hed be pleased to see me - plus i know how much he loves telling people how he drives me everywhere!
Im so jealous that youll be going to marble slab - i even went on their website i think id be there everyday to check out the different flavours it makes mauds look amateur (ask them can they bring one to NI??)
Yea Karens bbq today looking forward to it (tho the weathers looking dodgy but hey it always is here) then think were heading into town probably to whites since we have no imagination for bensons bday woop woop.
Fingers crossed for some great nights in august!
See you soon! xx

Woohoo! Wireless access in Fiji, just in time for the first rainy day since we've been here!
OK, Fulton NI tickets ares sorted, just have to pick them up before game and collect money from ya, but all sorted, as always by the master organiser! You wanting to go out anywhere over next few weeks? Just tell me where and when and I'll round everyone up for ya!! And we're gonna get stuck into all things food in America, ihop, chilis, olive garden, tgi friday's, hard rock, you know just the usual corporate chains that ya milk over there for their prices! Here if you're job has an opening down in Enniskillen anytime soon take it and we'll set up a wee pro evo den down there! I'm setting up there from 18th August! A week at home like, come on! Harsh
oh 2 things - 1 where is Karens new house? 2 Phil - no excuses, bacon in a burger im impressed.
Mum T - yup the relaxing on a beach thing is pure bliss, just what we have needed, its apparently cold to the loacls at this time of year, but we're both swealtered when the sun comes out. today is wet and grey but well, keeps the plans green and all that.
Jill - cant wait for a party back home. though ive drank so little whilst away ill be a total lightweight (not much new there)
Talk to you guys soon.

Yo, sorry its been a while, i actually have been working in my job...im still trying to work out how that happened over night without me noticing.
Whats the craic the with the isreal tickets? I think i was in one of my "i hate northern ireland" rants but i do wanna go like, when do they need to be picked up etc? Notice your still organising stuff when thousands of miles away lol. I asked Benson what the craic was but lets just say his skill set is firmly mathmatical, that boy didnt know anything.
Anyway all is quiet over there then, this time next month youll be back on the dirty turf of the North staring out the window at all the beauty of Sandown Road...so enjoy. Have you been to marble slab yet?? Go to a chillis over there too if you get the chance, its a million miles from the grease invested (now closed) one in the victoria square!! The sky diving looks whopping by the way, although i must express my concern at how calm you both look falling from thousands of feet, natural athletes the pair of ya lol.
Latest from the Dirt... Were hitting Karens new house this weekend for a BBQ, we have had a few so far this summer with Phils being the highlight few weeks back, there was bacon and everything in the burgers...impressive organisation and a wonderful host...think phil drinks carlsberg cause it was probably the best BBQ in the world. Karen has a lot to live up to but shes apparently up to the challenge... except she has bought coleslaw?? whaaa?? slaw is a burger ruining devil potion so i have offered to wing it over next doors hedge for free but ill see where that one goes...
Picking henderson up from the airport today...shes back from newcastle and as usual i have to drive her ass home... some things never change, just hoping they dont sell drink on the plane, dont know if i can take her slabbering the whole way home.
Right must go im currently in work and people are getting stressed and having small heart attacks about things that neither matter or i give a f*** about, im looking for my "concerned" face so i can look like i give a f***..."what, what, the printer is out of ink??"...call the feds we must call the feds now...." t*** , just t*** i tell ya.
laters dudes
Jill

Great photos as usual. After doing so much in New Zealand you will be glad of the rest in Fiji. Sure by the time you get back on line there will be so many messages you wont have time to answer them - Haha.
Enjoy soaking up the sun for the next week and then you'll be ready for more adventures. XX
Claire
Woohoo, messages. we are loved... or liked haha. We hope to put on our final New Zealand blog and photos on probably tomorrow night as we go to Fiji on Monday Morning and from the sound of it the internet could suck big style.
And Jill it was great to chat to you this morning, give Ethan a big birthday smooch from me next time you see him. xx
Mum C
And you could say its gone quiet with you as well - no blog or photos for a while. Canwe expect any before you move on to Fiji?
Jill
I'd just thought the exact same thing. Where are you now & what have you been doing since the last entry?
We're going up to David & Siobhan's tonight for a bbq for Ethan's birthday. Can't believe he's 3 already, how time flies.
Hope you are both doing well.
Jill xxxx

And ir's all gone quiet, all gone quiet, all gone quiet over there...

Not much on the way from what I remember but it is a scenic drive (aren't they all!), probably better now as I think they were working on it when we drove it but the last 20k wasn't on sealed, tarmac roads... more like smooth dirt. I would go for it, I don't remember it being too bad.
Chris
That's why you cant take advice 100% from people as you go, cos everyone finds things different. I think the place you stay has a hell of a lot to do with how you feel about a place!
Yeah we'd thought of going from Pahia, we're gonna head to Bay of Islands next weekend so up and back from there in a day is our preference but it seems like too long a drive. Maybe we should just go for it! Like you just need to drive up and have a look really, there's not much along the way is there?
We're going back to SE Asia asap, but prob Thailand, we dont feel we did it justice.
