So...... still in Bondi! We have found a great flat to live in! Me and Beccy met a nice guy in Bondi Hotel called Micheal... he is a model and super hot! He had a spare room in his flat in north Bondi so we are now living there, the rent is not exaclty cheap but its cheaper than staying in hostels all the time and much better. We have a lounge with a massive tv and loads of channels, we have a bath and shower, a kitchen, a bedroom all to ourselves, a balcony AND the best view over Bondi ever! Its quite a walk up to the flat and we are on the top floor but the view is so worth it! S
O the last 3 weeks we've really spent settling in and actually realising that we need to get proper jobs to live! We've really come to notice how easy it is to live at home with our bills, rent and food all paid for us ......it makes you appriciate mummys money alot more :) hehe So origionally i found a job waitressing in a resturant called City Extra which was in circular quay and looked over the bridge. The people were so funny and nice, mostly young and there were a few good looking guys too! It was amazing to be working, and in a quiet moment be able to look out the window and think 'wow.... im in sydney looking at the harbour'! But it turned out that im actually crap at waitressing...... haha and also the pay was so low it wouldn't be enough to cover my rent let alone saving for the rest of our trip. So i did a bit of searching and ive found a little Gem. I went through the interview process and am now an employee of.......wait for it..... 'DSP Group, George Street Marketting Offices'! I am now an employee off DSP group in george street marketting offices!! Sounds very posh doesnt it! hehe, im basically promoting and selling american express cards, im working for a marketting company who have big clients like american express and optus and many more and at the moment they are pushing american express. I get to go to the tennis open at the sydney operah house to as american express are the tennis sponsers, its all very big and professional! I need to buy some smart clothes i think. The atmosphere is great though, everyone is so positive and happy and all about sales sales sales! Its great... i love it and i havent even started it properly yet! So the job prospect is looking good good good!
Aside from that we are still having giggles, the other day we were sitting on the bus and there was a man standing up, whether he new about it or not his trousers were not covering his bottom cheeks and the chinnese people sitting down in front of him were less than amused! Me and Beccy actually couldnt stop laughing, she even took a Photo which i will post soon along with some pics of the flat. So, its been cool living by the beach for the last few weeks, i got a little burned the other day but not too badly and i havent been out in it huge amounts due to trying to find work ect. Tomorrow i have to be in the office for 7.30 am! and it takes me about an hour to get to the city so im going to have to get up at 6am!! NNNoooooooo!
The plan is to stay here for a month or two and then buy a van, and drive up the east coast. We have found lots of fun camper vans and reasonable prices and it will work out cheaper as it will function as our transport and accomodation, all we will have to pay for is food and petrol and it will be more flexible than going on a tour because we can stop wherever we like. Thats not actually for sure yet but we are looking into it as a possibility. So.... its certainly different here to wild Thailand but its been cool to relax and take on the 'no worries' attitude everyone seems to have.... even if they are slightly funny about us pommies!
Anyway, thats all for now chums... not very exciting but i thought id update you all anyway! Remember to email me with all your gossip too! I don't want to be left out of the english fun!!
Love to you all, your favourite red headed clo! x x x
