Still here in sunny Australia and enjoying the life in beautiful Sydney. Have had a great last couple of weeks after Serena, John and Lisa arrived- we all celebrated Nicola's birthday in style, having a meal on the water in darling harbour then partying in one of the nearby bars till the wee hours but leaving us with sore heads for Austraia day the following day which was spent listening to the contdown of the top 100 tracks in Hyde park in the blistering heat and sea of patrioism. Feeling rather jaded we decided we need some 'junk food' so took ourselves along to PIzza hut-unfortuantely thi resulted in awful food, flat drinks and a huge argument which errupted behind us and proceeded to move over nciola's head and our table while we were eating-very amusing! The following day we hired a large car and went on a fun 11 hour road trip down to Melbourne, with me even driving the beast for 4 hours or so, was so nice to go on a little holiday from our holiday (seriouslym such a hard life!). Was so great meeting my fabulous aussie friends claire and Sheree who i haven't seen in a year while in Melbourne and also finding 'Chloe's Bar' which is famous for it's large portrait of 'Chloe' naked, of course i checked myself out to see how i look naked in oils-wasn't too bad at all!! The highlight of the trip was 'neighbours day' when we drove ourselves down to Ramsay Street to check out the houses filmed, during our wonder round the street, there was a guy siging autographs and having a photo with a couple of lads, when they shouted out, 'hey girls do you want a photo with Todd from neighbours' of course we obliged alhtough none of us knew who he was, but he filled us in on his role (something to do with susan kennedy) several photos photos later and after he left us all talking about how he's probably gonna be the next big thing the security guard who stands watch informaed us that he was a fake and had just come in the van with his mates-was so funny we looked like the biggest loser's ever!!! That same night was neighbours meet the stars night when we went to a pub and got to meet some of the stars including legendary Toadie and watched Dr Karls' band, was a v.v.fun drunken night!!
Arrived back in Sydney ready for the 1 day international cricket England V Australia, obviously after england's dire performances in the ashes i had no hope whatsover that we would win but 8 hours later after lots of light beer, changing of seats, cheering and clapping with no idea what was going on the match was over and we had severaly thrashed the aussie's-was so much fun being there, was a great atmosphere, by the end of the day everyone around the stadium was having competitons as to who could make the longest beer snake (embty palstic cups put together) although anyone who did this or started a mexican wave got chucked out to the crowds amusement especailly as it was an excuse to shout at the security guards and police and felt so good to beat the aussie's as they think they are soo good at everything! (sorry all aussie friends, love you all!)
Am starting a job in the marketing department of a property company on Tuesday, so wil be good to get some money that is rapidly diappearing but getting up early to an alarm every morning is going to kill me, havent worked in 3 months now-aaaaagggggghhhhhh!!! Mum, Dad and Tom all arrive next Monday-am soooooooooo excited, cannot wait to see them and hav a big bear hug with my mummy!!!
