Wow, time has flown by have now been in Sydney for a month and having a fabulous time as a lady of leisure!
Have been living in our apartment for 4 weeks and still loving it and the location - walking distance to 2 olympic size swimming pools (1 outdoor by the sea and 1 indoor), Supermarket, delicatessants, cute restaurants and bistro's all at the end of our close and near to Kings Cross for transport and nightlife! Highlights of our time here so far include
-Numerous outings on Brendan's boat featuring copious amounts of champagne resulting in bad dancing, falling over, rediculous singing and the spanking of Steve's ass while moonying by Nicola as seen on videocamera (not quite as it seems!!) but most of all lots of laughs
-Christmas day in the hot sun with xmas hats and sunglasses on Bondi beach, santa was even sighted running around on the beach but jetted off on his sleigh (jet ski)
-Fireworks on NYE, waiting outside embarkation park from 4pm with our picnics, beer, wine and music made it well worth the wait for the amazing diamond themed fireworks
-Shortly after new year going to Lake Conjulla, a beautiful resort 3 hours south of Sydney. Stayed in a caravan next to a goregeous lake and fabulous beach the other side-got to sunbathe while the others went surfing-felt like i was on the set of home and away! A great place for my first sightings of shark poo (clear-initially thought it was jelly fish washed up on the banks) and Kanagroos, they all came out to play late afternoon/evening right next to the caravan where we were having a shrimp on the barbie!
-Having lunch at a gorgeous waterside restaurant in wollomoloo wharf and getting wine sent over by the table of gentleman behind for 'commiserations for the cricket' bonus, like we care about the cricket-had a fun rest of afternoon drinking with the dudes.
So many many more fun times have occured and hopefully lots more to come but for now i'm off to look for a job, noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
