How are things going Sammy? I think by now you should of finished your stint doing fruit picking and I guess be well loaded for the next leg of your world tour...
All is well here in blighty, with the weather now well and truly entering the winter phase, complete opposite of what your experiencing right now, how is it anyway?
You need to update us all of what you have been up to and load up some photo's etc.
We were around your folks place for Halloween, Joe and Hollie loved it. Mark did a BBQ, not quite Aussie style, but still good nonetheless. We had plenty to eat and drink as usual and as we were staying over, we didn't hit the sack until 5:30am, we were knackered for the rest of the day, especially as Joe woke us up and 7:00am (1.5hrs sleep...).
We have not heard much of your folks in the past couple of weeks as they have started the 'Grand Project' in earnest, i.e. the extension and I expect will be engrossed in it for the next few months or so.
Christmas is beginning to be included in our thoughts and as you know here in the UK everyone gets stupid about it already, the Christmas lights have already gone up in Queensgate, Peterborough. Baytree's usual mixture of weird attractions and outright tack has not let us down either.
What are your plans over Christmas and New Year Sam?
Anyway, I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon and as always wish you well in whatever it is you are up to right now.
Take it easy mate! Cliff

Anyway, i will love ya and leave ya, but please keep safe and no more jumping on bars ok! Will keep you posted with my A&E experience. Enjoy ozzy land. xxxxx

Sammy,
Good to be getting the e:mails from you as well.
Liked your latest write up and cool pictures from the Islands etc.
How did the job as a waiter go? I bet you that you would get fired, was I correct? I see now that your picking for a few week, how is it going?
I see your'e not letting us down then, you have become quite a beer monster, Mark will be proud of you, but you will cost him a fortune when get home, he will have to lock up all of his beer!
We have not seen your folks for quite some time now, but they have threatened to have us around for Halloween, this is always a good night and the kids love going round your place as Mark and your Mum are so kind to them, like we're not!
The war wound looks well cool and will obviously remind you for the rest of your life of the night you got so drunk you fell off the bar, nice one!
Our summer in blighty seems to have ended before it began so we are now turning our attention to Autumn etc. how sad...
Anyway, nice to see you are doing all right and hope you manage to save enough cash for the next leg of your journey.
Take it easy.

Sammy,
As you know we were around Jeanettes on Sunday for a BBQ and met up with the rest of the kinship. Katie was there, she looks really well and sounds the happiest I have ever known, she is really enjoying her nursing and talks with such enthusiam about it. Your Mum and your Mark are really happy and looking well too!
We all had a lovely time as the weather was awesome, Jerry's garden made us feel like we were in Italy!
Obviously, a major topic of discussion was your leg, I suppose it had to happen though, the only surprise is that it took you so long given that you have danced on quite a few bars in the past couple of months!
I hope you are alright from a health perspective and the leg is healing well, I heard it cost you your beer money for a couple of nights... I guess that's why you are drinking water in one of your pic's, first time I have seen you drinking something other than beer.
Cambodia looked awesome, you know how much I want to go there myself, I bet seeing the killing fields was an experience you will never forget and one that triggered a number of different emotions in you. From the photo's, the area you visited looks to be Choeung Ek, is this correct?
What Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge did to those millions of people was unimaginally evil and should never of happened. What were your thoughts having seen what you did?
You didn't mention much about Phnom Penh, did you manage to get and see it?
When are we going to hear about and see the photo's from the full moon party? I am assuming it was the famous party on Haad Rin beach on the Island of Ko Pha Ngan? I am expecting great things from you Sam on this one!
So you are heading off to Australia in just over a weeks time, what is your first destination?
I have sent you my e:mail address by the way (twice now), can you please confirm if you have received it, I sent it via this site in the e:mail tab but you may not have checked this out yet. Try and send me yours via this site using the secure email service and I will respond to it by sending it the conventional way and we will then be hooked up.
Anyway, take it easy and look after yourself and Stu of course and look forward to hearing from you very soon.

What took you so long to try out the local health care facilities? You will be pleased to know that your mum is just about stable now...! Very quiet here, at last some sun after all the rain.
Went along to London Road at the weekend, The Brewery Tap is still standing and the JHB was as sublime as ever....Posh played what was basically a Man Utd reserves side although Hargreaves did make his debut for them so an o.k. afternoon with Posh losing 3-1. The season starts this weekend so will just need to check that the JHB is still alright.
Take care - please!

Sammy,
Nice one mate, enjoyed the commentary and the pics of Vietnam. Awesome price for Beer, 8 pence is ridiculous, I bet you got your fill and then some? Pleased to see you are taking in the sights etc. and still having a great time.
What is the arty s*** about with the photo's?
I cannot wait to see the pics from the party!!! where to next after this?
We are all off to Jeanettes on Sunday to celebrate her last year in her forties (big 50 next year). We should see your Mum and Mark there, not sure about Katie! It should be a laugh anyway, I think Jerry is doing a BBQ, so you know what a giggle that will be...
Take it easy mate.

Hey Sammy,
In and around Laos looked wicked, the pics are great! You are looking well, as are your buds. We are all well back here in the UK, although you may have heard that we have had nothing but rain during the whole of June and July does has not really started any better, pretty depressing really.
You certainly look as though you are having a great time and I look forward to hearing about and seeing the pictures of Hanoi as this is a place I would love to see, Vietnam is definitely somewhere I really want to visit in the future.
I have some friends that have been to Hanoi and they tell you have just got to go to and see Hoan Kiem Lake and take a bus ride out to Cao B?ng on the chinese border with Vietnam to see the Ban Gioc waterfall which is supposedly spectacular. Close to Cao B?ng is the Nguom Ngao Cave which again is meant to be a great place to visit.
Anyway, great to keep up with your adventure of a lifetime and look forward to seeing your next installment.
Stay safe,
Uncle Cliff
Kate

Hey Sammy,
Good to see that you're keeping well and having a good time, you certainly seem to be mixing it up with the ladies! The scenery continues to be stunning and I am looking forward to seeing pic's of Laos and the surrounding area.
We are all keeping well back here in Blighty although the weather is crap at the moment and cannot wait until summer finally kicks in. The rest of the family are doing well also, Sid and Ivy have just returned from Scarborough but I do not think they enjoyed it too much and have moaned since.
I must say, the quality of your reporting continues to be exceptional. Maybe you have missed your vocation in life and perhaps travel reporter is more your thing than being a personal trainer for some fat old rich bloke!
