Way -Hi man Sam!
Don`t know why I gave you that compass! For some reason you gave me the impression that you would be in the bush and outbacks with 1-saucepan , two sticks for lighting a fire and a mosquito net!! Considering this is only your fifth week on-route; I hope you`v got a good supply of glucose pills?? I must compliment you guys on your photography skills, looking forward to seeing a talk talk video though. Life in the northern hemisphere of the world (Newcastle Upon Tyne) continues to be eventfull. Jac, George and I are fine. Keep up the blogging Sam.
Be Good!!!

Hey Sam,
The Pic's are quality! Hong kong looks amazing, the shots from the peak are outstanding, you must have enjoyed your time there? Thailand looks good too and I see you stayed clear of the ladyboys, glad to know you managed to avoid the embarrasment.
Great to see and read that you are having such a good time, although, you appear to either have permanently bloodshot eyes or you are persistently pissed!
We tryed to have our first BBQ of the year around our place on Sunday but it was a complete washout because of the weather and we had to remain inside instead. We managed to sink a few beers though and I think a good time was had by all until someone decided to get a board game (deal or no deal) out, I have never seen such a completely pointless game by the way! Estelle likened the Family gathering to it being a little like the Royle Family, especially the board game bit, Jerry, Jeannette, and Nan and Sid took it so seriously it was scary, thankfully, your Mum and Mark keep things in check and the day ended without too much blood being spilt!!
I was in America (Illinois) on business again last week and it was in the high 80's most of the time only to return to blighty in the low 50's. It looks extremely hot where you are, but I guess the humidity is the killer, what is it there at the moment?
Well impressed with your dialogue mate, keep it up...

p.s I am impressed with your consistent reviews so far... they are great to read (keep it up)
Much Love

Hey Sam
Great to see that the world's longest pub crawl is progressing smoothly; plus at last a picture with some girls in it instead of just dodgy geezers drinking dodgy fizzy 'beer'.
Hope you didn't put yourself out to watch the match at the weekend, crap or what? Hargreaves set to sign for Utd by the weekend, allegedly.
Cheers........Mark

Sam I have just read your report and feel alot better, sound fantastic I am beginning to wish I was there! don't' worry I'd never invade your space. Just keep writing your reports. Nan and Sid came for dinner yesterday (Sun) and she is still black and blue but in a little less pain. The poor love can't have a proper bath so I gave her a pedicure which she reallt appreciated. She sends her love and is releived to hear I am hearing from you. Auntie Rosemary is battling on she is on her 3rd course of chemo she has to have six so we are all hoping she will be able to continue. I'm going to send her you webb site details as she is bored out of mind and will enjoy reading and hopefully soon see some photos.
You did not mention Stu in your report so I'm hoping he is ok and there have been no more episodes of what happened in the taxi.
The weather has changed here and it is raining quite alot. Me and Kate do the Race for Life on Sunday I'll let you know how we get on. Take good care of yourself, I miss you already Mum x
Uncle Cliff
Hey Sam, Good to hear you arrived safely in HK. You seem to have found the bars no problem, and of course the ladies, remember what I told you though, always give a quick feel 'down there' before you head off anywhere with them, particularly when you get to Thailand!!! Hope your onward journey is safe and look forward to seeing some of your photo's from HK and Thailand, are you staying in Bangkok only or travelling a bit? I thought you mentioned you may do Cambodia, how coooool!!! Look after yourself. Yours enviously, Cliff.
Mum
Great to here from you sam, sounds like your having a good start to your travels. Not a lot to report here I've just managed to clear your room for the lodger. Everyone is asking how you are doing I am passing on your web details. I do need to speak to you personally just to check you have received a certain transaction. It's really quiet at home, no start to the exstention yet. We have taken on a new guy for your job - not sure how him and Rod will get on, I'll keep you posted. Give my love to Stu and look after yourselves- sorry I had to say it. xx
