Sun 4/20

Cape Point tour today.We started with a VERY choppy cruise ride to Seal Island.It's a little rock island virtually covered with cape fur seals.It was pretty cool to see but the boat was so crowded it was hard to get good views.After that we went to this beach that has quite a population of penguins…….yes penguins!I didn't know there were African penguins????Cute little critters.Then there was a bike ride (which I passed on).After lunch we made our way to Cape of Good Hope - which is the most South Western part of Africa.It was gorgeous.Some say its where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet but I guess that is truly a little further east.Either way there's some amazing views.We took quite a hefty little hike down and over a mountain to get back to the car.I definitely got my walking in today.The day started out quite stressful as 1 of my flights was cancelled and the flight they put me on would make me miss my connection with no other connection available for 5 days in Amsterdam.I was wigging!Found another flight though out of Cape Town instead of Jo'burg and it looks like I'll be home on time.Met up with a mother/daughter I had met in Kruger for a few drinks afterwards.It was a pretty good day.

Mon 4/21

Walked down to the waterfront today but didn't really stay long.Mostly just a bunch of tourist shopping which I didn't feel like doing.But I can say I saw it.I was pretty wiped today so just mostly took it easy and relaxed.I leave tomorrow.It's been a great trip but I am ready to get home.I'm exhausted!A couple more days flying.I do have a day in Amsterdam though so I'll try to catch a few more things there.
