Last days in Iceland....Volcanoes and Horses We headed south to Reykjavik after leaving Borgarnes. Most everything was closed cuz it was Good Friday but we managed to find a couple of shops and a cute cafe open. Found a great cottage in the town of Borgarnes on the west coast. Thought we'd stay here a couple days and have been here for 4! We've been making day trips.We visited the local swimming pool the first night.Every town has one!Big Bear could take a tip from Iceland.Indoor and Outdoor pool and 3 "Hot Pots" at different temps.They're amazing.Most are heated naturally.We headed east the 2nd day to Husafell and Reykholt.Visited a museum in Reykholt and saw ...

7 days in Iceland Iceland is a beautiful country!Lots of waterfalls. Glaciers, Geysers, canyons, a glacier lagoon, rivers and oceans. Our trip started just south of the arirport in a town called Grindavik where we visited the Blue Lagoon.Very over priced but very cool hot mineral lake.We then set off heading toward the Golden Circle.Saw a geyser and the largest of Icelands waterfalls - Gulfoss.Also made a stop at a 6500 year old crater lake!Stayed in a town...
