Finally the hotel served pancakes again for breakfast, Chris was very happy lol. We packed our bags and checked out at 10am then went out to a resturant to get something to eat before our drive to lovina. We thought forty five minutes would be plenty of time to order and eat but the salad and tandoori sandwich took forever to come! The bus was picking us up and we only had five minutes to rush back to make it! We got back and grabbed our bags, then just as we stepped outside the hotel a bus pulled away from the pavement. We were worried it might have been ours and then a few more passed by but none of them stopped for us. Just then a man came out of our hotel asking for us, he was our driver! Useless bloody staff knew we were waiting for him but didn't think to tell him where we were! Oh well at least we hadn't missed it. Thankfully there was only another couple in the van so we had lots of room to spread out.
The drive was really nice going through the mountains. We saw lots of monkeys along the way and our driver kept throwing peanuts out the window to them. We finally got to Lovina at around 1:40pm then had to sort out somewhere to stay. We tried the other couples hotel first. Well, their choice was far too expensive for us so we tried next door instead at the Ray Beach Inn hotel. It was cheaper but still more than what we usually spend. We couldn't be bothered to walk around looking for somewhere else as the weather was too hot now, so we checked in.
Once we had cooled down we went to the hotels restaurant to get our free welcome drink. There was a man waiting for us there and before we could sit down he had his brochure open and was selling us trips! If he hadn't of been so impatient and pushy we might have booked with him. All we wanted was our welcome drink! Eventually we managed to get rid of him by telling him we would see him again later. Of course that was a lie, we had no intention of booking with him.
We went out for lunch later and really fancied a pizza each. We found a busy restaurant so thought it had to be good and luckily for us the pizzas were cheap! So we thought. When the bloody bill came it was really expensive! We queried the price with the waiter and it turned out we had to pay separately for each topping, which were listed at the back! The price we saw next to the Hawaiian pizza was for the base and sauce only. Well, we wouldn't be eating there again and it wasn't even that good a pizza!
On our way back to the hotel we decided to check out the beach. We realised when we saw the hundreds of long boats lined up for miles that it wasn't a beach for sunbathing. A local guy spotted us and quickly came over to ask us if we wanted to see the dolphins tomorrow. He wanted to charge us only £3.30 each, which was a lot less than the guy from our hotel earlier. We decided yes and couldn't wait to go, we asked if we could get in and swim with them but he said no, they're too fast and the boat will be moving all the time :( At least he told us the truth, the guy from our hotel said we could swim with them if it wasn't that busy but no one is allowed to swim with them.
We are looking forward to our trip tomorrow but not the getting up at 5am part! So we need an early night tonight, we went out for a quick and 'cheaper' dinner which was really nice then watched a bit more of Karl Pilkington on the iPad before finally falling asleep.
