Considering we drank so much last night we actually didn't feel that bad today. We got up and went over to the restaurant for breakfast where we ended up getting stuck in front of some over hyperactive Aussie guy in the que, he was wearing a stupid pair of sunglasses which I think were actually for skiing and bright yellow trainers while everyone else was either bare foot or wearing flip flops! He wouldn't shut up talking at 100mph, we didn't even speak back to him! When we finally got our breakfast we sat down on a bench as far away from him as we could. The Olympics were on the tv so we wasted most of the day watching them and at that moment the 100m final came on. Chris was excited about it but I just wanted to veg out as my hang over began to set in. After breakfast we went back to our room and did just that, we slept right until lunch time.
It was sunny so we got changed and walked around the whole island, which only took us ten minutes it was that small. It was a nice island, busy by now though with day trippers. We found a spot on the sand and laid our towels down to sunbath. Chris went straight to the bar to get some water and didn't return for ages, he was gone for at least fifteen minutes and when he finally came back he told me he got stuck watching the Olympics again and was drinking tea! As I expected he didn't last long sunbathing and neither did I so we both gave up, especially as it turned cloudy so there seemed to be no point anyway. We both ended up watching the Olympics which I thought was very boring, the heavy weight female lifters were cool though.
After a while we went back to our room again and watched two episodes of the River before going to dinner, we made no effort this time. We sat away from other people who were chatting and laughing with each other, we just couldn't be bothered to be sociable tonight. Some might think we were being boring but we just wanted to enjoy each others company and couldn't be bothered to go through the same conversation with more people that we would get to know for all of five minutes!
We ate our pudding then walked back to our room to watch our last episode of the River. It was really good but we don't have anymore episodes, perhaps we should be more sociable, we might end up meeting someone who has the rest then lol.
As it got later we could hear the base playing from the bar, we knew it wouldn't be busy and just not worth going down to, so we decided to save what we had left of our rum for when we meet Emma and Steve again on Bounty Island. We stuck the film Seven Pounds on instead (which I cried my eyes out to) then turned our chill out music up and went to sleep.
