Week 16- Australia (Melbourne) Day 5
We got the tram into flinders street agin today to catch the visitor shuttle, which is a bus that goes around all the touristy stops in Melbourne. Our first stop was the botanic gardens. They were beautiful, would be even nicer in the summer. We did a loop around the gardens, took piccies of pretty flowers and we went into there tropical gardens which reminded us a bit of being in Singapore City (clammy and hot).
We walked back round the gardens and went to visit the Remembrance shrine which a shrine to remember the people they lost in the war. There was a big building in the middle which you couldn't go inside and them around it was various different statues and signs there was also a fire ball too.
After that we met to st Kilda beech for a spot of lunch. We went to where my friend works Lizzy (Tommy Tuckers) and we shared grilled dory, chips and beet root salad. We also shared some sweet potatoes fries which were yummy but we couldn't finish! We decided we better walk back after that feast.
We got back and chilled for the rest of the evening, me char and Max made lasagne (team effort) and it was delish. We sat around watching TV and chatting for the evening.
