Hi all, currently on the train towards Berlin. Leaving at 11 and getting in at 5:20. We had a fun last day in Amsterdam. Visited some free attractions. We went to the natural history museum as well as a small village within amsterdam. Amsterdam is built on top of poles cemented into hard sand underneath the city! We also learnt that some aspects of its history is a lot like Britains. We then has a glorious lunch in the form of a traditional Dutch dish called Hopskotch. It consisted of a carrot and potato mash, meatballs, sausages and bacon. Simply delicious. In the evening we went to a good nightclub but all the travellers are saying that Berlin is at another level in terms of night life. Should be good, were looking forward to it. The hostel that we are stating at is called helterskelter. Cost around £15 a night. Ta ta for now.
