So I've made my first major mistake. My plan was to leave on thursday evening arriving in Belgrade at 4:17 and then leaving at 5:13. It would get me to split at 8:37 on the Friday night. That would have perfect but when I looked at the times more closely on Wednesday night I realised that it would get me in at 4:17 on the Friday morning and therefore 8:37 on the Saturday night. This wouldn't be good. Around a 50 hour journey, meaning I would spend less than a day in a place I was looking forward to most. I bit the bullet, checked my funds and booked a £130 flight. It would mean over the next week I would be living of scraps but I think it's worth it. I have about £200 left. So we shall see what happens. I was tired when I booked the flight. I booked it on the Thursday morning at 1 planning to leaving on the Friday at 9:05. I checked my email. I had booked the flight for 8 hours time!!! Great!! I was literally close to tears:(. So I had to rush yet again. Sorting things out. I didn't sleep. Until I got to the airport. I left 6 hours before my flight was due, I didn't want any more mistakes! And here I am at the airport. Their is a tinge of regret. Wondering if I made the right decision. I think overall I did. It would have cost me two travel days. It would have been very stressful and tiring. It would have meant I only spent a day in Croatia. I would have lost some money because I had already booked hostel for Friday. I'm just going to be worried about money now. If worse comes to worse I think I can extend my overdraft to its limit of £1000. We shall see though. I think I should be okay and I'm sure Giulia would understand that I will have very little money. I can't wait to see her. Can't wait to see you guys as well.

Suppose I might as well talk about my brief but seemingly very expensive stay in Istanbul. I did actually manage to see most sights. The blue mosque, sofia mosque, grand bazaar, the famous park and the famous bridge. It was all very nice. I think I'll write more when I am more enthusiastic ha. So yeah, feeling pretty down. Really want to call you guys but stupid phone is broken. Just leave some messages of support and so on to make me happy. I'm sure, on Monday, I can borrowy a quick phone call from Giulia. Ahhh, my phone bill is due on the 28th. Haha, well I'm sure I'll be fine. I just can't wait to relax on the beaches in Croatia. All my love. Xxxxxxxxxx
