Today was another arm related write off. We got an early flight to San Diego, which by some miracle arrived early! The insurance company were useless and hadn't managed to arrange an appointment for me with an orthopaedic surgeon (although we later found out from the clinic that they'd held an appointment for me but the insurance company just hadn't come back to them).

We therefore had to dump our bags our at the motel then walk straight to the nearby hospital ER. Cue a load more waiting for follow up x rays which we wouldn't have needed to wait for if we'd had the ortho appointment. Another wasted day - frustrating.
