Heya Everyone!

I didn't realise how long it had been since I wrote my last blog, crazy. It's been so busy the past few weeks doing the divemaster course, I havn't had a spare second in the day. By the time I finished this weekend I could hardly stand up from exhaustion!!

Last week on tuesdayish we went for night dive. It was the most amazing thing, we attached glow sticks to our scuba units and walkd through the centre of Byron, down the beach and into the sea. We got some funny looks, but it was brilliant. We looked like an army of christmas trees :-) On the dive itself you could only see where your torch was shining. I thought it would be a bit weird, but I actually forgot I was in the water at one point and I felt like I was flying or something! The vis is so good because your using a torch and all the colour shows up properly, so it's just like going out at night on land, except you're suspended in the water.

Earlier that same day we went on the most beautiful dive, 20m+ vis on a 25m deep dive. We saw so many animals, at one point we swam around this stone ledge and were confronted by 14, yeah thats right, 14 grey nurse sharks (there's only about 300 or less left on the east coast now)!!!!!!!

I'm starting to feel like a real diver now, my toe nails are falling off. Nice.

The week has been full of studying, training and diving. On thursday our assesments began. I swam over a mile in the ocean (that's a big deal for me :-p) and passed all my exams, SO as you can imagine, when I found out I was a divemaster on friday I decided to go out and celebrate, it was wicked fun!

The other day I went zoorbing (thrown down a hill in a big ball), it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I loved it! There is a really funny video I'm trying to upload, but it's taking ages so I don't know whether I'm patient enough to wait for it to finish. Hopefully I'll go skydiving soon too!

I'm having such a wicked time in Australia, loving every second :-)
