G'day! Its Tuesday afternoon here, boiling hot and all is well. On Sunday, Rachel and I went to Cohunu Koala Park...the best day ive had since ive been here. It was amazing! I held, fed and cuddled a koala bear, called Ginger. Took lots of photos, which ill try and put up when im next on. Its nothing like a zoo at home, Cohunu is home to emus, ducks, geese (argh), black swans, dingos, alpacas, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, possums, parrots, deer amd wombats. The dingos have their own enclosure, obviously, but when you walk in, there are just emus, ponies, geese wandering around in front/behind you...the sugar puffs (feed) had to be hidden from the greedy geese. We went into the koala enclosure, and i the keeper let me hold little Ginger! He was adorable, utterly adorable, monching on his eucalyptus, very content! So i held him, had a massive photo session, and we were off to the Kangas!! They have their own enclosure too, shared with the wallabies, peacocks and deer. It was amazing, they were so blase about us being there, i couldnt believe it. Words dont really do it justice just how amazing it was! We spent about an hour and a half at the park, then off to Hilary's Harbour, a lovely harbour further north of fremantly. Its the sort of place where you come away wishing you had a boat, there were so many privately owned boats and yachts. Gorgeous. We moseyed around Hilary's Harbour, then off to Kings Park for the final installment of the day! We wandered around there, its absolutely massive, something like 900 acres, and then had pizza and sparkling wine for tea! Lush. We hit the road, and had a quiet one with some dvds. All in all, having a wonderful, wonderful time!! Hope everyones well, lots of love xxxxx
