We have been in Australia 3 days now i think (still a little confused with times/days/weeks etc!) So far it has been raining but we have not let this deter us oh no! We have been out and about sight seeing in true tourist fashion as you will be able to see from my pics. Our youth hostel is quite nice altho some bright spark left the window open in our room so my bed is a little soaked - mattress and all so currently I am sharing with fran - cosy! They did "sort it out" but I think this translates as changing the bedding in the hopes that I wudn't notice that the mattress was still wet. I also seem to be having a big hair problem (see photos) - there must be some static or/and humidity problem ?oh well I am told volume is the look of the moment so hopefully I will get away with it! Anyway at least we got good seats on the plane and champagne thanks to Dad'a excellent flirting skills with the ground steward at the airport! Having a flirt of a Dad has it uses! (Thanks Dad).

Ooooo I have just looked out of the window and there seems to be blue skys and sunshine or at least I hope this is real and not just my jet lag playing tricks on me .... best go check it out!!!
