Well people it all starts today. Just a short one as I have made it to T4 Heathrow and await my plane to Hong Kong. Just the 11 hours flight today!!!

Smooth journey down to the capital city - in past the Emirates stadium ( boo hiss ) on the train. Airport so far has demonstrated how well organised I am which does not bode well for the other side of the world - I hope they speak English as good or better than me!

So far I have neglected to remember the fluids in my hand luggage along with the aerosol so was subjected to a good searching- how well am I doing?!

Strange to think when you guys are tucked up in bed tonight, I will be landing in a country thousands of miles away where no one knows my name - have to admit the whole travelling alone is seeming quite the crazy idea at present but I am sure will be fine when I get there - just need a lovely young chinese lady to make me feel welcome.

Anyway I shall waffle on no longer, atleast not today anyway. Next time I blog I will be in Hong Kong China baby - will aim to get some pics on so atleast something interesting to look at if not to read.
