We tok the train into Boston and before we knew it (with a little help from some locals) we made it to Fenway Park. Red Sox vs. Yankess on a nationally televised game. Awesome!
Got in to the park early and found our seats. Everything was great until I tried to sit down. The seats were narrow but the distance between my seat and the one in front was so small I couldn't sit down and bend my legs at the same time. There was no way I was going to sit in this seat for four hours!
Fortunately I checked out the Red Sox website and found an opportunity to upgrade our seats. I applied for some box seats but couldn't get approval until right at game time. I counted down the minutes as people filled in around us and at 7:30 pm boom! the upgrades were approved and we moved down to some great box seats just behind the third base dugout. Fantastic views and much more comfortable seating!
Had a incredible experience as the Red Sox came from three runs down to win 4-3 on a Hanley Ramirez rocket shot over the Green Monster in the eighth inning.
What a great time we had!
