Tuesday 22nd February – Up at 7am for an 8am out! Getting earlier... Last full day in this region and what a fantastic area this is. Straight down the Bussel H’way to Augusta to see the Lighthouse. $5 got us entry to the grounds and a lovely sunny and warm walk around the lighthouse and trying to spot the seam joining the Indian and the Southern ocean... We all got it very wrong... there was no seam, doh! A few minutes for tea and scones From there we went to Flinders Bay and a wonderful view out from Augusta. Up the main road to Hamlin Bay and bluest water we’d seen for a while and a ray swimming up and down the shore to boot. After a few photos and a paddle it was back to the GGGRRREEEEAAAATTTTT WWWWAAAALLLLL yute and ventured onto Prevelly Bay, where we had lunch overlooking a beautiful beach. From Prevelly, the GGGRRREEEEAAAATTTTT WWWWWAAAALLLL took us up to Gracetown and sat on the beach – got too hot and back on the road. Stopped off at the Flying Fish Winery and had a nice tasting there – made purchases. Rob even brought a hat... how we’ve searched for a hat and finally we got there! Duckstein Brewery was next on the list and Ade had another 5 beer taster and general beers all round. Hit the road to get us back to Bussleton for 6pm. Now sitting in the back garden drinking beer and wine and here we shall end todays blog.... tomorrow Bunbury and home... as in the Holdcroft Hotel (recently demoted from five to four stars) ;o)

Mom/Dad D Sounds like a good full day was had. Good to hear you have enjoyed the area. Look forward to hearing more. xxx
Vicki All sounds super. Funny we were only looking at the Flying Fish wine in Tesco on Saturday 9.99 bottle. The beach at Bunbury is lovely. Can recommend the beach bar for a lunch stop. xxx
