I see blue skies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we arrived in Phi Phi Island early Friday morning to absolute paradise...I may never leave! Had a dodgy moment on the boat where we had a few raindrops...but Cassie had taken her hoddie off so quickly made her put it on again and the rain dissapated!

The boat, which we got from Ao Nang pier was absolutely full to the gills and left around 9.30. Approaching the island is like something from a postcard, its just beautiful. We got off and were greeted by hoards of people selling rooms so we bartered and got ourselves two rooms just outside of the town (the cheap side!) in a place called uphill cottage...which as the name suggests is up up up up. There are no roads as such here and no vehicles with motors! Its so cool, this little thai fella loaded our bags onto this cart thingy and wheeled it as far as the reception, about 10 min walk from the main town and then we had to lug the bags up all thes steps, but the rooms are lovely...again lots of ghekkos and mosquitos but if they are the worst we come across I'll be happy!

Went exploring and found the one of the beaches which is just heaven. The diving is amazing and we'd love to try it but don't know if we can stretch the funds! Think it might be worth waiting for Australia for more scuba action! The shopping here is unreal, I am now the proud owner of chanel sunglasses which cost me 4 Euro......and yes they are the real deal :P !!! Its DVD paradise, John you would be im heaven, I would love to bring you home loads but can't carry them, and I'm nearly sure its illegal to post them home!

There is blazing sunshine and blue skies and we are happy out lying on the beach and then drinking beer on the balcony in the evening. Our new activity of "spot the Irish" keeps us very entertained. I mean my god, as a nation we don't half stick out!!!!! There is an Irish bar (isn't there one everywhere) here and it was showing the Man Utd match yesterday and I was thinking of you, Mum screaming at the TV....ah the memories of home!

We are staying in Phi Phi until Tuesday then we are off to Malaysia, hoping to do some long boat trips around the island today or tomorrow and in the meantime are living it up in the sun....bliss.
