When we got back into Bangkok we stayed for the night to get ourselves organised and met up with Tim who we met on the trek for a few drinki poos. The next day we went to the weekend market which was pretty amazing. You can buy anything you can imagine. We had a look at the pets section and Andy picked out a gorgeous puppy husky with beautiful blue eyes and I picked out a little pug they were so cute that we had them posted home to my Mum for when we get back.... Only kidding Mum but we wanted to!!
From Bangkok we got the over night bus and then the boat over to Ko Samui. Andy came out with a priceless comment while we were dumped at the pier with a 3 hour wait at 5 in the morning, 'The worst thing about traveling is the traveling!'
Samui was alot bigger than I expected but it was pretty cool, the beach was huge and there was so much to do loads of bars and resturaunts. Only thing was we didn't really get the weather to enjoy it. It rained almost every day leaving the whole place water logged. it was such a shame beacuse when it wasn't raining the beach was great we got fresh pinapples and corn on the cobs went swimming and tried to sunbathe!
From Samui we headed over to Ko Phagnan for the full moon parties. However as fate would have it , it rained every single day we were there!! Its a great place though. The beach in Hadrin is not very nice as it gets abused by parties but the place had lots to do and had a really good traverler vibe. Loads of the bars had films on which kept us busy while it pissed it dow with rain!! The full moon parties are cool such a good atmosphere on the beach although we broke our camera which was a very expensive accident.... Whoops.
We decided to leave that side of Thailand early and gave Ko Toa a miss as we couldnt ber any more rain. We decided to head to the Krabi area as the islands there finish the rains a month earlier so fingers crossed!!!
