Noosa!!! Were flash packing began! Noosa is a gorgeous little town although very expensive, filled with gorgeous boutique shops and eaterys. Basically amazing if you have the cash to flash but if your doing it on a budget its a bit like torture!! But we did really love it here as we spent our time looking at the flash cars and nice apartments and chilling on the beach. The best thing about our stay was the hostel, or lack of it should I say....When we got there we had no place booked but a couple we met told us about a hostel they were staying out which sounded good so we headed in search of a crappy dorm bed. Instead they only had the apartments free but where happy to offer it to us for the same price. We couldn't believe our luck when we got there. Massive double bed, balcony, sparkely new kitchen, apartments pool, dvd player lounge just generall gorgeousness and clean!! also there was just us and the couple we had met to share it. As it turns out we became very friendly with 'our Caz and husband Baz' and they have turned out to be out traveling buddies and best friendys on the trip. We loved our time in Noosa and had duch a good laugh with Caz and Baz sometimes our unplanned approach really does pay off. I think on the 3rd night it was Baz'z birthday so we headed to the irish bar, thje only bar we could all afford to drink in! Me and Caz were just happy to have our glad rags on and make up we didn't care where we went to! We had such a good night (may be a bit to good!) And I think Baz really enjoyed his birthday.
The next morning me and Andy headed off early for the Steve Irwin Zoo feeling very worse for wear yes unfortunately much to the shame of Andy I did have to use the sick bag on the coach. Whoopsy! What a fantastic zoo though. We went to the crocosium Crickey, what a beauty an all that! Saw the massive crocs and even stroked a baby gator! The great thing about the zoo was it was really interactive and focused on educating you about the animals in the wild. Some peple had mentioned that there was a lot of tributes left to Steve Irwin and many people found this a bit much. I thought it was really moving though and liked reading the tributes from all the schools who had been there on trips etc and there was some amzing photos through steves career so I guess it is just personal preference. The best part of the day for me was having a cuddle with the koala called Sienna....even if she did poo on my white top! Andy loved watching the tiger cubs I think he would have watched them play all day if he could but there was so much to do!
