Kula Lumpur was a welcome change from Thailand, as much as we loved it, getting back into a city was very refreshing. We took the over night bus and arrived very early at our hostel Pondock Lodge. The hostel turned out to be one of the best we have stayed in and was stupidly cheap. For about 3 English pound we got our own private room, air con and free breaky and the hostel its self was really lovely and full of Malay style decor.

Even though we had zero sleep we were so excited to be back in a city and headed straight out to see the sights. We went up the Petronis towers one of the worlds tallest buildings and then went to explore the huge shopping centre that it housed. We only stayed around 3 days but this was plenty of time to take in the sights see China town and explore the many many shopping centres. We found a really nice bar just under the hostel to chill out on the night times and although KL was pretty tame it was a really nice way to spend a few days and gave me a great impressiopn of Malaysia. I think KL is still a very up and comming place so there is not all that much to do but definately worth a visit. : )
