The past two weeks have seen the culmination of a few things. Baling has officially finished and the balers have been cleaned off and parked in the shed. I must say I am a little pleased about this as there will be no more days bouncing around in the field for me! It did mean, however, that I spent a few days rowing bales, although I don't really mind this job. Well, where to start??? I suppose the beginning will do, which kicked off with an invitation from Sheridan to go to Calgary for September long. My obvious response was 'Hell yes!' but I had to check with Perry to see if we were busy. And of course, the one weekend I want to go away we are working…urrgghh!! So since my last update, there have been a few things happening. The weekend of the 18th I went to a horsemanship clinic run by a guy called John Tilley. He was quite a nice guy and a feaking awesome rider. It is so humbling to see good people ride horses, although he does spend all of his time riding/training them so it is to be expected I suppose. Nevertheless it was a very interesting weekend and I learnt quite a bit. There were some nice people there as well...
