Most of us do not know where Haiti is located on the map, let alone that it is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, with an average income of $2 per day, despite being less than a 2 hour flight from the US. One in six children do not survive past 8 years old and the average life expectancy for peple of Haiti is 52 years. 80% of the people in Haiti live in poverty. I will be working as an Occupational Therapist in clinics, orphanages, and in medical establishments that are not allowed to exist in the United States. Take a look.....

the pics r sooo great! it appears my daughter is on a beautiful vacation using the "volunteer progam" as a "front" while the rest of us doing "homework assignments"? haha luv the "luv Bus" of the 60's the best....but mostly I luv the fact my daughter is following her heart/dreams/purpose of life! (ok but speedy return home-before Justin remodels the entire place.....Luv you!! oh & I'm fine dad, I & the dogs r in Tahoe(looks like xmas,so much snow)keep those pics comming

well, i don't want to get in trouble for not doing my homework assignment, so here it is: Mom got a cast! A purple one! no, i havent seen it, but she told me that the Dr. recommended casting it, even though it takes longer to heal that way because it will give her better results... i asked to see the report card... she "forgot to get it" from the Doctor, so i put her on restriction until she shows it to me!! hope you're having another time of your life! no blogging/pics must mean you are busy having a blast and healing the world! OK, I checked American Airlines website, and it says Casey's flight landed safely, so unless she got on the wrong flight, she should be there safe and sound! Thank you God for protecting my little sister while she is away!!! And thank you for allowing her this opportunity to help those that need it, and to have fun while she's doing it!
