I woke up late this day. I hung out with Bo rob and cecilie on the patio until they all had to go (they weren't a group together just a coincidence ). I then headed to the beach with a beer and a towel with Ed.
Here I met an American pair of boys traveling together who freestyled ska type music on the spot and they had brought their guitar.
I also met Brohdie my friend from down under who'd been traveling for 3 months. I also met a pair of Canadians from Guelph.
Ed went and bought us a six pack to share and we down them in the middle of the afternoon with Brohdie.
I stumbled back to my room to find I had new roommates. Two extremely nice girls from the US, Melody a marine biologist and Melissa a physical therapist. They were telling me how excited they were for dinner so I invited myself to go along with them.
We headed to a tapas bar not so far from the hostel and munched on an amazing pitcher of sangria, very fresh and light gazpacho, melon and Jambon, fried chicken with plain aioli, amazing olives. The waiter brought us free shots of a chocolate liqueur and shots of something out of a mysterious green bottle that the waiter was unable to tell us what it was. The interesting thing was that he Just left the bottles on our table and didn't charge us for them.
We were a little drunk after dinner so we headed back to the hostel and got ready for the pub crawl later that night.
Sidenote: this is when my sunburn really started burning.
So we stayed at the hostel for a while and about 20 of us enjoyed drinks on the patio and my American friends and I shared some massive mojitos. We left for the pub crawl and we were given a free drink at every pub or club we went too. I danced mainly with my girls but also a very tall Swedish guy who was weird and aggressive so I ran away from him. Some how I ended up dancing with Brohdie and though we didn't talk much at the club we did hit it off.
My American sisters left early-ish leaving me with Brohdie which I assured them was safe because I'd been talking to him earlier and he was staying at our hostel. We ended up Getting lost in the part of malaga we were in and wandered around the city doing an odd sort of private sightseeing tour. We finally made our way to the promenade which was a few km from the hostel but was a lovely walk for both of us. We sat outside the hostel for hours and eventually watched the sunrise and at about 730 we parted ways and headed to bed.
