I only slept for a few hours, wanting to spend some time with Brohdie before I left. I actually tried to stay another night but they were fully booked so I couldn't. We chatted until the afternoon which is when I packed up and said my goodbyes to my melting pot family as we called ourselves.
I took a taxi to the airport, bought a sandwich and waited for my flight.
It was uneventful, I sat next to a nice American couple.
I took the shuttle bus to the city centre and walked to my hostel. The door was impossibly hard to find. There was no handle on the outside and you had to time it just right in order to be buzzed in and push it open.
Once I got settled I wasn't feeling well so I decided I'd just stay at the hostel all night. I ate some snacks I'd foraged away in my pack and took a long nap. I had tree terribly unfriendly American roommates who I did not particularly care for.
I woke up at About 11pm and joined the drinking in the common room. I enjoyed some fine morangie scotch with my new friend NYC Ali, and mark from new Zealand.
I went to bed pretty early at 2am.
