My Photo album just about sums Lima up, I've been here 3 times and haven't really properly seen the city!! This time I'm back just to say goodbye to my tour group before heading off to Brazil.
We manage a night out on town, the obligatory group dinner, followed by midnight bowling (much fun) and then drinks and dancing, which lasts until the early hours of the morning. It's strange to be leaving our group and nice hotels behind, but we say our goodbyes as people leave throughout the day. Sharon and I do attempt a city tour, but it's a disaster...we end up on a 70% walking tour, strange given we got on an open top city tour bus?? and we walk to an art gallery displaying naked breast feeding ladies and religious art, not really my cup of tea so we hot foot it out of there, making our excuses and flagging a taxi!
We have a nightmare trying to get to the airport and I actually thought it was going to be my first flight missed, the traffic was crazy, luckily with an hour to go we arrive and get checked in, they clearly don't care about the 3 hour before international flights rule here!! Fairwell Peru and Hello Brazil (our last country and only 3 weeks left).
