After the gardens we went to one of the famous hot springs bath houses. On Bathhouse Row there are 6-8 bathhouses that date back to the turn of 20th century. Most are just historical, but some are still open and in business. The one we visited was completely restored and modern, but it looks like it did in 1920. Hot Springs in the 20s was the sin city of the day, with illegal gambling and whatever it's rich patrons desired - people such as Al Capone, and celebrities came here. Anyway, it was very relaxing, with water flowing directly in from the springs at 140 degrees. Nice !
