Second night in and we have started integrating with the locals! Today we went to the travel agency to pick up our package for the ready of our trip. The lady spread out a large map where they had drawn out our route and various locations of each hotel. As well as the interesting areas we should stop to visit. It all looks amazing but my first thought was...we are definitely going to get lost! But that's ok, they are giving us a GPS and a phone to call in case that happens! Since it started raining we decided we should probably head back to the Beaver because he's probably finishing up the vodka with his new friends back at the apartment. After Bonnie's nap we figured we'd head out for some grub, pasta so she could load up on carbs. We found a great place called Ristorante Caruso. And let me tell you the 1/2 hour wait was well worth it! The food was incredible and we were seated next to þrudmar and his lovely companion. They gave us some great advice on what to see tomorrow at the culture festival after the race, and to also make sure we come back and book some Glamping tours with him when we return! I told him I have the perfect group of friends that would love that! He also gave us an Icelandic language lesson and a great suggestion for dinner on our last night in Reykjavik! It's called Friedrich V and we were told to ask for him directly and give him þrudmar's name. So we will! Tomorrow is Bonnie's race day, wish her luck and enough good energy to party afterwards! Night!
