Had a fantastic week. First stop Flora River National Park. 31km dirt. Mr B not happy about the bumpy road. Flat gravel but a few corrugations. Mr B loved the area so much he got runover by a wallaby being chased by local indigenous kids. Ended up with sore ankle. Moved on to Jasper Gorge, 50km corrugated dirt. Visited a cave half way up a cliff face, where indigenous sat and watched the world go by. Fantastic views. Had afew days there. Onto Timber Creek had a nasty scrape in on on whell so took it off. Phoned the mechanic and he told us how to get the stone out.
On to Keep River Nat Park. 31kn dirt corrugations . Fantastic walk around some stone structure's like an ampitheatre. Had 2 days at Lake Argyle. First night boys watched State of Origin see photo. Had to stay 2 days as cruises were all booked out. Did the lunch cruise. FANTASTIC. Had silver cobbler (cat fish) for lunch.
The caravan park has 700 sites and was full so We were parked on a flat bit on the edge of a cliff, as the powered site parks weres full. Nearly got blown off first night. So we put everything away second night. The wind blew so hard it blew the pop top roof down. I got showered with assorted bits stored on the shelf above my bed. Into Kununurra today trying to convince Mr B to do a flight up to Mitchell Falls. ONLY $1000 each. He doesn't want to drive in on Gibb River road. Not sure where t from here.
