After a long driving day, crossing the equator, and then the border into uganda (and being screened for swine flu!!) we stop in jinga town for a look around then head to our campsite (the nile river explorer) - what an AMAZING view - We are camped above the Bujgali falls over looking the Nile. Me, Tracy and Nick decide to get an upgraded tent which looks over the falls and has an open shower. I cant even begin to describe how amazing it is. The next morning we get up early (6am is pretty normal now LOL) and we head to the Softpower project to go and meet and play with the orphans at a local pre school - they are all over us!!! Its very very emotional. We then head to a local school where we paint an entre building (i am KNACKERED) - again lots of kids and being mobbed for photos. The journey is tough as we ride standing on the back of a truck over really rough roads and I am red from head to toe from mud (with white splatters from paint LOL) .... Just eaten a banana chapati, waited an hour for this connection and its off to dinner - im so tired and frustrated i cant write more and update this better but not much I can do about it!!!
Early night after dinner .... I am signed up for the Nile river rafting in the morning .... Grade 5 rapids and I am VERY scared.
Miss ya all xxx
