Hi today I woke up early today because we are gong to a Cambodian school today. We woke up really early and breakfast was not open so we had to order a box breakfast. Inside the box was some bread, a banana, a hard boiled egg, and an orange. The box was sooooo good. We ate the box while we were on the way to the school which is called the Bakong School. When we got to the school we fed all of the kids breakfast. There breakfast was some soup with pork and vegetables. After feeding them breakfast we were walking around and taught one class BINGO. I did not know the whole song so I was really scared to sing it in front of the class. The class really seemed to like BINGO. After teaching the kids BINGO we started painting a study hut. The study hut was small. It had a straw roof and was bare wood we were painting reddish brown. In the middle of us painting a bunch of kids came along so after a while of us staring at them and them staring at us we played with them. We played Duck, Duck Goose, Red Light Green Light, and Hopscotch. It was sooo fun. After playing for a little while we gave out backpacks to a class. They loved the backpacks. There were ones for the boys and ones for the girls. Their faces were smiling with happiness. After giving one class backpacks another class came out and my sister gave them cards from her class. Even though they could not read English they loved the cards. Then we worked on building and painting trashcans. My dad built the wood trashcans and then me , my sisters and my Mom painted them. The painting was sooooo fun. It was mainly only fun because before that I had never painted before. I have painted but not big things like walls and trashcans. While we were finishing painting the trash cans my dad hung tire swings too. Then we went to lunch. I was soooo hungry. For lunch we went to the hotel. After lunch we got books for the Bakong high school. I thought the books were going to be workbooks but then when we opened the boxes in front of a group of high schoolers I saw that they were reading books. There were hundreds of people in the high school and only about 90 reading books until today. We gave them hundreds more. That was all we did at the school sadly. This is one day of my life I will always remember because of the smiles on the children's faces and the feeling I felt inside of me from the good we did. Thank you sooooo much ACS/Friends/and Family for all the money and backpacks. We could not of made smiles on the kids faces without you!
Thank you and please comment about my nice day at Bakong school.

Aunt Amy Hi Capt O! It is SOOO great to hear what a fantastic experience you had at the Bakong school. You made such a difference in the lives of those students, just as they have obviously made a difference in yours!! You are blessed to have such an experience. I enjoyed seeing the pictures your mom sent - you all did look so happy! Thanks so much for sharing!! Love to all!!! XOXOX AA
Gran Gautney Hi Captain, I hope that you will remember the joy you brought and the joy you experienced!! Thanks for doing it in our names too! In my work with missionaries, they describe the same feelings as you did. Are you a missionary of sort??!! I think you fit the definition. What do you think? Much love, Gran
Grandma Wow, O what an amazing day for you and your family! So glad it all worked out for you and left you with such a wonderful memory.
