I slept like a baby my first night in Sydney (8 solid hours). I got up and went out to get some coffee then showered and got ready for the day. Vickys sister Theresa came to pick me up and we went to Bondi Beach for lunch. Its funny you hear all about the famous Bondi Beach but its just a beach. Lots of cute surfers but no better then Hermosa or Manhatten beach, I guess I am spoilt having lived in California. We then went back to Theresa's house to pick up her dogs Rusty and Little and went for a walk in Centennial Park. Its a huge park in the middle of the city just like Central Park in NY. It turned out to be a gorgeous day so there were lots of people out running and walking. The dogs had a blast running wild and Rusty thought he was really macho running around carrying a huge branch which was hysterical to watch. They have eels in the lake which is a bit strange, there hundreds of them and black swans which I have never seen before. After the park we went out for coffee and sat outside at a little cafe. It was a really great day. I came home and Shireen and I hung out and caught up then we went down to Bondi for Sushi. Its been great hanging out with locals and chilling out before my NZ adventures begin.
