Thursday, pm We went out this morning about a mile offshore and did about a dozen man over board drills. Each of us did it as many times as it took to satisfy the instructor that we knew what we were doing. I had to do it twice but I nailed it both times. Wednesday, pm Today we didn't get the boat repaired until 2:30pm so we had to settle for a short trip to Puerto Colon, only 10 miles down the coast. Tuesday, pm We left Pasito Blanco this morning at 10:00 am and for the first 2.5 hours it was very pleasant and sunny. These islands are very rugged and lots of places rise straight up out of the ocean for hundreds of feet. These areas are totally inaccessible and look the same today as in 1492 when Columbus left San Sebastion for the new world. Tuesday, am Having a cup of coffee as the sun comes up over the harbor. Very quiet and peaceful. We are sailing east today back toward Tennerife. We should have the wind behind us so it should be a much more pleasant trip. Sergie is skipper today. Both he and his wife are very nice.
