Last night was so crazy and so fun. Between finding an Australian bar (per the request of Cameron) and finding a place to dance, a large group of people from our hostel ended up standing around on the street and talking. (All of my best experiences so far seem to happen on the street late at night ... I hope that's not a trend. haha) I talked with Mike for quite a while. He was insanely cool. Kind of a jock with a sensitive side. All around nice guy. He's supposed to e-mail me if he can wver make it out to Michigan to see a University of Michigan football game. Oh, and craziness: his birthday is the exact same as mine, same year and everything. We danced together at the next club we went to and just had a great time. We spent the rest of the night rescuing all of our traveling buddies though. Kirsten and Emma had creepy guys hitting on them, so we had to keep an eye on them. And poor Becky! She went from one creepy guy, Mauode, to the next. Kirt started dancing with her to get Mauode to go away. Unfortunately, he just wanted to try to make out with her. So then Mike and I had to dance over to them and get him away from her. haha We eventually went back to the hostel. I faced the wall and did not watch Mike while he slept (he teased me about that for months afterwards, claiming I was in love with him. haha) Becky and I had to get up early to catch our train, and we didn't realize the reception desk didn't open until 9:30, which meant we wouldn't be able to get Becky's license back. Luckily, Mike is super cool and said he'd get it and mail it back to her. What a nice guy! After getting extremely confused at the Metro Station, we were finally able to catch our train to Valencia. As it turns out, people with Eurail passes have to get on at a different section than everyone else). Quote of the night: Mike & Me: Mike: You've been to a Michigan football game? How many people were there? Me: Upwards of 100,000. Mike: Excuse me. I'm starting to tear up.
