I like that quote. It's certainly a good reminder, huh? I've found lately that travel has become an integral part of my life ... and I'm certainly enjoying every minute of it. These last few years have been incredible, and it's only getting better with each passing month.

This blog is a look at my backpacking adventure around Europe in the summer of 2005. Becky and I hit as many countries as we could in one amazing month. The sights were spectacular and the people were even better. It was during this trip that I learned that I can actually survive on my own in a completely unfamiliar situation. This blog contains just about everything I learned from backpacking.

Also, I've added my trip to Vancouver during the summer of 2006, when I got to spend a few days visiting the one and only Miles, (whom I met on the Europe trip). My summer as a publishing intern New York is also included, as well as some extra trips to Ithaca and Albany.

So if you're bored and have time to kill, looking for travel tips, or just wondering how I am and what I'm doing, this blog just may prove itself useful.
