NiHao well this is farewell in China for a week as we leave Wuhan for Kowloon HONG KONG today; another train. 11 hours this time but we have a 1st class seat :-) the hostel we stayed in at Nanjing was old but clean, i did describe it as "we have now found the grottie hostels" but it was fine. Nanjing was busy.... very busy Wuhan has been ok, yesterday was Rob's birthday so we went to Walmart on the ferry across the Yantze and had dinner at some bay......

So after our 3 nights at the hostel it was treat time at the Hilton.Although not as nice as the one in Beijing it was nice to get out the shared rooms into a nice hotel for another evening of cheap dinners and washing underwear in the bath. Turns out the Hilton were also providing the accomodation for the ATP Shanghai tennis masters, although we didnt meet Murray cait did meet one of the guys that made it to the semi final. well the train from Xian to Shanghai was an experiance; when we got on we were the only ones gettin on in Xian in our carriage, the lights were off and it was well hot. the attendant turned on the lights; there we rows and rows of 3 high bunks and no doors. i was on top of row 3 and rob on top of row 12. thank god for mobile phones so i could text rob.... next issue was there was only squat toilets and i was wearing combats and ugg boots, bad times !!!!! then at ...
