Firstly my ribs are a bit better, just sore when I lie down and cough etc...read on net it can take upto 4weeks to heal! I've been drinkin hot ginger, lemon and honey drinks for my cold, which is soooo nice!
I've come back to McLeod for the weekend as the group went trekin here, so I booked into a hotel for thje night, meeting up with thme later. See pic of Om Gusest house, owned by Tibeatns.
The ride here on friday was pretty hairrasing, we wemt thrpough monsoon rain and lightening up windy mountain roads.
The food here is soo good tho, we wnet to a place on the fri, very cosy and weith theirt own resident buddhist monk. He's wrtiien a book and travelled to give speeches, so was really interesting to talk to. The electicity here goes off at least once a day, and it wnet off in the rest, which was kinda cool as the candle s were lit while we ate. The door flew open with the mountain wind a la 'raiders of the lost ark' with the wind chime goin, alas no nazi's walked in hahaha.
The monks here are pretytynormal, walking around in converse trainers and havcing choc attacks in the sjhops.
I've decdied to learn the guitar whilst I'm living here, I've booked myself a private balcony in my hotel, so will have some cool views to relax and l;earn. Thinking of signing up for Indian cookery classes and a 5 day massage course as well :P
