My first blog, they can only improve. How can I describe India, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It is amazing I have never seen anything like it, there are cows laid in the middle of the motorway. It is the biggest culture I have ever had, but I am relishing the experience.
The weather is hot and sticky, and it has rained twice. The food is amazing I have had a curry everyday (all vegetarian, I am craving meat)! The curries are so much better then England, I have asked the maid to show me how.
My host family Rajiv and Rhria are very nice. The house is in a good neighbour hood, and our flat in thei house is clean and basic. There always people coming and going, I am the only english person left now Danialle and Kareen ( south Londoners) have gone, there are five yanks.
I travel to the orphange each day in the mobile sauna (bus #423) with El (17 doesn't look it, California). The orphanage is about an hour away in Mori gate in the slum area of Northern Delhi, there is real poverty. Everybody stares at us both, El is the only white person I see all day outside the house. There are about 20 boys there of varying ages, we teach them in the morning and play games in the afternoon. We are going to the train station tomorrow to see were the orphans are found.
Having an amazing time so much to fit so I apologise fo gaps between blogs. I am starting to venture out further now that I am getting my bairings, and planning to see more places after work (lotus temple and bollywood movie). Will be back in touch soon, hopefully using a keyboard which works.
