DAY 16: ON THE ROAD AGAIN - HELLO CHARLESTON!
We reluctantly checked out of the Andaz Savannah this morning to continue our journey up the East Coast.
About an hour into the ride we decided to stop at the portside city of Beaufort for lunch - the ribs and buffalo wings went down a treat!
It was only another couple of hours up the highway until we reached our destination of Charleston. Quite impressed with our accommodation here at 'The Restoration on King', pretty modern and swish. Haven't made up our mind yet about dinner, but we've got a few options close by to choose from.
Can't believe we're only at the halfway point of this holiday!
