Last few finishing touches before setting sail tomorrow. We have been held up because our insurance company have insisted on a survey, like a five year mot for yachts, the last part, a gas safety check to be done at 08.00 Monday morning. We have been working hard 4 days in the shed and 5 days afloat. We have out new Genoa sail fitted. We are moored next to a nice couple we met here last year Des and Anne, we have enjoyed a meal on each other's boats. They are heading up the west coast of Sweden while we are going up the east coast. We should meet up back hear at the end of August to put the boats to bed. All the other Brits are long gone, having left in May. Our plan is to sail towards Klintholm in Denmark but depending on our departure time and wind conditions we may stop in Gedser. Our plan roughly is to sail to Helsinki in Finland and back to hear via Sweden. The Baltic has not warmed up yet and is still about the same temperatures as the UK, next weekend looks better with temperatures in the 20s.
