We anchored off their local beach for the afternoon enjoying a few swims before going up about a two mile river to the town, we found the jetty with the big crane and waited for Morten to arrive he said to be ready at 0800 in the morning. He had another yacht to lift with a propeller problem, he got to us about 09.00. We were soon out and hanging from the strops. I had told him I thought we weighed about 8 tons his crane could lift 12 tons, in fact we were 11 tons. That makes 1 tons of spares and tools and 2 tons of Brenda's stuff. I took off the failed kiwi prop and put back on the old bronze original one. We spent the next two hours washing the boat as the yard man had big dirty boots, we also had to refit the back stay and the lazyjacks. We were charged about £90.00 for the lift, we also put in £60.00 worth of diesel our first since Helgoland not bad as we have been motoring all the way through the Kiel canal
